Draw today's fortune card
This card does not choose the answer for you. Answer five questions by picking the option you prefer, then reveal today's fortune card.
How today's fortune card is made
How five scenes choose the card
The card is not drawn at random. You pick the option that pulls you more in five scenes (an unexpected free hour, a tangled evening, a big decision, a day that went wrong, the month ahead), and your answers decide the card.
Each answer points to one of four rhythms: the explorer who heads somewhere new, the architect who sets criteria and order, the connection maker who draws energy from people, and the rhythm restorer who slows down to recover. The rhythms do not appear equally often across the five scenes, so the deck does not simply count hits. It compares how often you chose each rhythm against how many chances it had. If the highest scores tie, it uses your most recent answer that points to one of the tied cards.
Reading the card in order
The result card has four parts. The name is the direction your mind leaned today, and the text describes when that direction gives you energy. "Watch for" is what tends to happen when the same rhythm goes too far, and "One move today" is something small you can do in fifteen to twenty minutes.
You do not need to follow all four parts. Try that one move, then think back in the evening about how it went. That is enough.
Why the card changes when you draw again
The same answers give you the same card. Changing your answers may give you a different card, but different combinations can also lead to the same one. If the result changes, look back at which answers you changed. If a card keeps coming up, use it as a reminder to reflect on the answers you often choose.
Equal tallies can lead to different results
To read the example, compare each tally with the opportunities beside it. Equal tallies can represent different shares: a rhythm offered less often has used more of its opportunities when the tallies match. Neither column explains the result on its own, so keep each tally paired with its own opportunities.
Check whether the rhythm with the largest tally also has the largest share. If those differ, the apparent mismatch comes from comparing counts rather than proportions. A smaller tally can still represent the stronger share without any of the choices being ignored or counted twice.

Each rhythm has its own opportunities
An opportunity means a rhythm was available in a scene, whether or not you chose it. A rhythm absent from that scene has no opportunity there, so its absence should not be read as a rejection. When tracing the example, keep the options that were available separate from the answers that were selected.
If the leading shares tie, look back through the relevant answers in reverse order. An answer pointing to a rhythm outside the tie does not settle it; continue to the latest answer pointing to a tied rhythm. This helps you see why the final answer overall need not be the answer that decides the card.
Compare one change during the week
Choose a day to try the card's small action, then note what helped you start and what got in the way. On another day, change an answer while keeping the rest the same. Before drawing again, write down why the new choice suits that day, so your comparison includes the reason for the change as well as the result.
If the card stays the same, the changed scene still gives you something to reflect on. If it moves, compare the suggested actions and choose what feels manageable now. Keep a brief note in your own words, rather than copying the card's description as an account of what happened.
Please keep in mind
This card is a light self-check. It does not predict the future, and it should not be the basis for important decisions about health, money or relationships. Your answers are not stored.
