A philosopher (RLOAI) and a rebel in free fall (RLUEN). Both distance from society, but one lives in thought, the other in escape.
Both reject existing frameworks, so they feel like kindred spirits at first. But RLOAI wants to stay in depth, while RLUEN keeps leaving. RLUEN doesn't answer RLOAI's questions—just goes. RLOAI finds themselves alone in RLUEN's absence.
When RLOAI says "Let's stay here a while," RLUEN says "Here is prison." RLOAI's sincerity looks like confinement to RLUEN; RLUEN's freedom feels like betrayal to RLOAI. The relationship itself seems to cage RLUEN.
Best is when RLUEN stays longer. Together, they try to find why RLUEN should stay in the world RLOAI offers. But it doesn't last.
“For this to work, RLOAI must learn not to hold on, and RLUEN must find reason to return. Completely opposite directions—but occasional meetings might be enough.”
