The Light-Footed Hunter (SCUAN) and The Dramatic Achiever (SLOAN) both want something. SCUAN wants to achieve it strategically, SLOAN wants it passionately. When they meet, it seems like they can accomplish something great together.
SCUAN and SLOAN are both ambitious. SCUAN achieves goals efficiently while SLOAN puts their life into those goals. To SLOAN, SCUAN seems too cold, and to SCUAN, SLOAN seems too emotional. At first SLOAN's passion moves SCUAN, and SCUAN's strategy guides SLOAN. But over time both feel the other's way of being hurts them.
SCUAN's shadow self becomes colder. It means seeing this relationship as part of their strategy. SLOAN stays emotional in shadow mode. They keep asking "do you really like me?" When SCUAN says "yes" without depth, SLOAN gets hurt. Conversely when SLOAN's obsession binds SCUAN, SCUAN escapes.
When they accomplish something together it's good, but once that goal is lost, the relationship loosens. SLOAN wants this relationship itself to be the goal, but SCUAN is already moving toward the next one.
“For these two to work together, SCUAN can't ignore SLOAN's feelings, and SLOAN must accept SCUAN's freedom. But if the way they pursue goals is too different, they'll keep clashing.”
